Teldex Studios to record New Year's Concert with ANDIAMO

For ten years now Teldex Studios in Berlin are responsible for the CD production of the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. This year a D.O.TEC® ANDIAMO was chosen as central AD/DA converter. Three audio workstations were connected to the MADI feed via a D.O.TEC@ MA2CHBOX.XT. The AES and headphone outputs were used for monitoring in two edit suites at the same time.

René Möller, recording producer at Teldex: „For external productions we provide a completely digital setup with Studer D21 and D.O.TEC® PRODUCER.COM. As an alternative we also offer a more 'analogue' based setup with mobile consoles by Studer. The ANDIAMO provides excellent AD/DA conversion for this setting. This is the setup we used for the New Years Concert in Vienna actually. All our D.O.TEC® devices are not only convincing in terms of sound but they are also compact, very versatile and absolutely reliable.“

In the control rooms of Teldex Studios analogue SSL 9000 and Studer 980 mixing consoles are connected to Pyramix and ProTools workstations via ANDIAMOs as well.
