Angetreten, um Sportarten jenseits des Fu\u00dfballs zur n\u00f6tigen Reichweite und Zuschauen zu verhelfen, geht der Sender auch in der Produktion seiner Inhalte komplett neue Wege. Als Produktionsdienstleister wurde die NEP Germany mit einer Remote Production Infrastruktur beauftragt. Hier wurden auch das technische Konzept, die Signal-Workflows und Prozessabl\u00e4ufe gemeinsam mit DYN entwickelt. Als Systemintegrator, verantwortlich f\u00fcr die Umsetzung, fungierte Broadcast Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Herzst\u00fcck des Audio-Workflows der kompletten Infrastruktur ist eine umfassende Systeml\u00f6sung von DirectOut Technologies mit mehreren seiner multifunktionalen PRODIGY.MP, .MC und .MX-Einheiten. Mit insgesamt 1x PRODIGY.MX, 20 PRODIGY.MP und 12 PRODIGY.MC ist das Projekt f\u00fcr die NEP Germany und Dyn die bisher gr\u00f6\u00dfte PRODIGY Installation f\u00fcr DirectOut. Zus\u00e4tzlich sind noch eine Reihe weiterer Audio-L\u00f6sungen von DirectOut im Einsatz, wie z.B. ANDIAMO oder EXBOX.MD. Um die komplexen und in dieser Form komplett neuartigen Anforderungen zu realisieren und die Integration mit anderen Herstellern zu erm\u00f6glichen, entwickelte und adaptierte DirectOut neue Funktionen und Schnittstellen.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><style><\/style><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><section class=\"ffb-id-5qf62dnt fg-section fg-text-dark\"><div class=\"fg-container container fg-container-large fg-container-lvl--1\"><div class=\"fg-row row\" ><div class=\"ffb-id-5qf62dnu fg-col col-xs-12 col-md-7 fg-text-dark\"><div class=\"ffb-id-5qf63fhm fg-paragraph ff-richtext text-left    fg-text-dark\"><\/p>\n<p>So hat sich DirectOut mit seinem Audio Solution Model (ASM) vom reinen Hardwarehersteller zum Anbieter von Audio-L\u00f6sungen gewandelt. Die PRODIGY-Tools von DirectOut setzen mit modularen Hardwarekomponenten, leistungsf\u00e4higem DSP und anpassbarer Steuerung bereits die ASM-Philosophie um. Das Audio Solution Model (ASM) von DirectOut besteht aus f\u00fcnf Layern: aus modularer Hardware, auf bestimmte Anwendungen zugeschnittene Ger\u00e4tefunktionen (Skins), Control Protocols, Software, GUI und AI sowie ADD-Ons, bestehend aus Hard- und Software-Erg\u00e4nzungen auch anderer Hersteller. Auch dass mehrere, der aktuell verf\u00fcgbaren Steuerprotokolle in den PRODIGY Devices gleich mitintegriert sind, hat dazu beigetragen, alle unsere Workflow-Ziele zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig konnten wir die eigenst\u00e4ndige Weiterentwicklung der hersteller\u00fcbergreifenden Steuerung aller Ger\u00e4te in der Installation selbstst\u00e4ndig entwickeln und programmieren.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><\/div><span class=\"blockquotes-v4-by\">Michael Lindermeier<\/span><\/blockquote><\/div><\/div><\/section><div class=\"ffb-id-5qf6b2ki fg-col col-xs-12 col-md-12 fg-text-dark\"><div class=\"ffb-id-5qf6bb5p fg-paragraph ff-richtext text-left    fg-text-dark\"><\/p>\n<p>Herz der Installation ist ein zentraler Hub bei der NEP in M\u00fcnchen mit einem zentralen Ger\u00e4teraum, 2 Regien und dem NOC. Der andere Teil der Technik befindet sich bei DYN in K\u00f6ln, mit 4 Regien und Kommentatorenpl\u00e4tzen. Die nahtlose Integration der Venues erfolgt \u00fcber eine MPLS-Verbindung von Riedel nach M\u00fcnchen und K\u00f6ln. DYN in K\u00f6ln hat dabei Zugriff auf alle Ressourcen in M\u00fcnchen und kann diese fernsteuern. Die Techniker und Redakteure k\u00f6nnen ebenfalls auf die Technik in den Venue Kits zugreifen.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt sind 33 PRODIGY-Einheiten f\u00fcr das Handling der Audio-Signale im Projekt integriert. In jedem der sechs Venue-Kits arbeiten je 2x PRODIGY.MP und 2x PPRODIGY.MC. In M\u00fcnchen sind 7x PRODIGY.MP sowie 1x PRODIGY.MX, in K\u00f6ln 1x PRODIGY.MP im Einsatz. Diese Ger\u00e4te agieren als Audio-Kreuzschiene f\u00fcr die Streams und als Gateways zwischen den Netzwerken, sie realisieren den kompletten Audio-Workflow, inklusive I\/O, Processing und Audio-Mix. Die Steuersoftware GlobCon erm\u00f6glicht eine einfache Konfiguration der PRODIGY Einheiten, w\u00e4hrend die Produktionsteams mit den HCONTROL.16 Hardware Controllern arbeiten, die eigens f\u00fcr dieses Projekt entwickelt wurden. Schaltungen in den PRODIGYs sind auch \u00fcber Stream Deck-Einheiten an den Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen m\u00f6glich. Der Audio-Supervisor kann so an einem Arbeitsplatz mehrere Spiele monitoren. Die fertigen PGM Audio-Signale folgen den PGM Video-Signalen. Vom Venue Kit zu den PCRs und den Audio-Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen sind die Audio-Streams diskret verschaltet. Der Workflow wird vom NEP-eigenen Kontrollsystem TFC verwaltet. Die Ravenna Module in allen PRODIGYs verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber gen\u00fcgend Buffer, um Schwankungen im WAN auszugleichen und die insgesamt 30 Audio-Signale zwischen dem Venue und M\u00fcnchen zu transportieren. Durch den Mirror Mode mit einem zweiten PRODIGY ist ebenfalls eine ausreichende Redundanz sichergestellt. Ein weiteres Sicherheitstool ist der Input Manager des PRODIGY.MX, der beim Empfang eines Streams ohne Audio-Content automatisch auf ein Backup-Signal umschaltet. Mit der Remote Production Infrastruktur f\u00fcr Dyn Media haben alle Beteiligten Unternehmen neue Wege und Workflows beschritten.
