Musikalische Performances auf h\u00f6chstem Niveau, ein technischer Gro\u00dfaufwand und ein f\u00fcr NRW bisher einmaliges Konzertkonzept: So fasst man wohl am besten zusammen, was die Band \u201eFilou\u201c aus dem Ruhrgebiet zusammen mit dem groovenden Streichtrio \u201eDuck Tape Ticket\u201c und dem Dortmunder domicil Jazzclub am 16. und 17. Juni unter dem Titel \u201eFilou Recording Session - Kopfh\u00f6rerkonzert\u201c veranstaltet hat. In der entsprechend wohnlich gestylten Atmosph\u00e4re des Konzertsaals entstand an zwei ausverkauften Abenden eine Live-CD und eine Videoproduktion, bei der die Zuh\u00f6rer nicht nur im Zentrum der Jazz-Formation Platz fanden, sondern die Aufnahmen dank Funkkopfh\u00f6rer auch akustisch mitten im Sound-Geschehen verfolgen konnten. Die dicken Beats und eing\u00e4ngigen Hooks der Band trafen im Konzert perfekt durchkomponiert auf die wilden Improvisationseskapaden von \u201eDuck Tape Ticket\u201c, die 2013 bereits den Future Sounds Wettbewerb der Leverkusener Jazztage gewannen. Durch den konzeptionellen Verzicht auf eine Beschallungsanlage waren beste Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr eine optimale Aufzeichnung und Dokumentation der musikalischen Ereignisse gew\u00e4hrleistet.\n\nTechnisch realisiert wurde das Projekt von dem Musikproduzenten Julian David und der Musikfilm-Produktionsfirma klangmalerei.tv zusammen mit der Crew des domicils und Projektleiter\/Kurator Mark Scholtz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DirectOut unterst\u00fctze das ambitionierte Projekt mit zwei ANDIAMO.MCs, f\u00fcnf BREAKOUT.AN16O Anschlusserweiterungen und zwei MA2CHBOX.XL Ger\u00e4ten. Insgesamt 48 Audiokan\u00e4le wurden auf zwei redundanten Systemen aufgezeichnet. Die ANDIAMO.MCs wurden nicht nur als Analog-Digital Wandler verwendet, sondern kamen auch als Mikrofonvorverst\u00e4rker f\u00fcr die \u00fcberwiegende Zahl der zu verst\u00e4rkenden Signale zum Einsatz. Dabei wurden die Ger\u00e4te mit Hilfe der ANDIAMO Remote \u00fcber einen separaten Laptop per USB ferngesteuert.\n\nAbh\u00f6rseitig setzte Toningenieur Julian David auf die MA2CHBOX.XL Kopfh\u00f6rerverst\u00e4rker f\u00fcr MADI, um die Aufnahme in bester Qualit\u00e4t und mit gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6glicher Flexibilit\u00e4t kontrollieren zu k\u00f6nnen und zeigt sich durchweg begeistert:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eDie verschiedenen Ger\u00e4ten von DirectOut haben in vollem Umfang \u00fcberzeugt und haben meine Erwartungen \u00fcbertroffen. Die Audioqualit\u00e4t der aufgezeichneten Signale ist absolut hervorragende und das gesamte System hat hervorragend funktioniert. Diese hohe Zahl von Audiokan\u00e4len mit einem derart kompakten Setup aufnehmen zu k\u00f6nnen und dabei keine Kompromisse in Bezug auf Leistung und Flexibilit\u00e4t akzeptieren zu m\u00fcssen, war ein echter Segen. Danke noch mal an DirectOut f\u00fcr die gro\u00dfz\u00fcgige Unterst\u00fctzung.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Live-Album wird voraussichtlich Anfang September 2015 ver\u00f6ffentlicht und die Videos sollen ebenfalls zu diesem Zeitpunkt erscheinen. Neben dem technischen Support durch die DirectOut wurde das Projekt von weiteren Pro Audio Firmen, privaten Sponsoren und Rotary Jazz unterst\u00fctzt.
