PRODIGY.MP - the device for any challenge

DirectOut will present its powerful multifunction audio processor PRODIGY.MP at AES NY.

Luca Giaroli, Business Developer at DirectOut is just amazed by all the possibilities: "Our PRODIGY.MP offers an extremely powerful DSP engine, based on FPGA processing. The users can play with Matrix-Mixers, Summing Busses, MixMinus Matrices, internal EQ, Dynamics, Delay, external Plug-ins and so-called Flex-Channels, that are configurable as Input/pre fader or Output/post fader. The previously mentioned processing blocks can also be combined and interconnected freely to match any complex scenario, from live sound to fixed installations, recording and broadcast. The internal DSP routing and the hardware I/O assignments can be stored and recalled on a snapshot basis.”

PRODIGY.MP offers all the audio tools required to face any challenge, such as sample rate converters for AES3, clock independent MADI I/Os and a versatile sync management together with flexible and powerful signal processing.

The globcon plugin for the PRODIGY.MP enhances its power and integrates the Rational Acoustics Smaart V8 capabilities via API. The measurement results are being displayed as an overlay in the EQ plug-in of globcon and can be utilized for system tuning, making it an even faster and more intuitive task.

globcon grants the global control of the PRODIGY series and many other DirectOut devices. Its easy-to-configure trigger management includes the support of OSC and MIDI to enable control through third party devices.

To find out how to set up your environment with globcon, feel invited to Luca Giaroli’s lecture “How to configure your RAVENNA setup with globcon” on Thursday, October 17th at 11:00 am (IP Pavilion Theater, AES NY).

Come and visit DirectOut at AES NY at booth #350 and check out the PRODIGY series.
