RAV.RAV.SRC.IO is a dual audio network module for the PRODIGY Series and MAVEN.A to interface with 2 x 64 channels of RAVENNA streams.

One module, two audio engines
Hosting two audio network boards the module offers 2 x 64 channels of RAVENNA. It can be connected to two different RAVENNA environments with 64 channels each and offers seamless redundancy switching between the networks.

Sample Rate Conversion
Individual HD SRC for bi-directional sample rate conversion is on board as a standard. The PRODIGY and MAVEN Series also offers low latency sample rate conversion (FastSRC) for input and output. The two audio network boards can be operated at different sample rates.

Dual network modules ensure a seamless connection across clock boundaries and different audio protocols on a single module.

Stream Redundancy
There are 2 x 2 independent network interfaces to connect each protocol via a second stream (Port 1 / Port 2).

The amount of audio channels per protocol is reduced at higher sample rates - 32 channels @ 2 FS or 16 channels @ 4 FS (SoundGrid supports 1 FS and 2 FS only).

RAVENNA is an open audio networking technology developed initially by ALC NetworX.
DirectOut's own RAVENNA implementation relies on more than ten years of development.

As a successful participant of the JT-NM Tested program RAV.IO is listed in the JT-NM Tested Catalog as a module aligning with the SMPTE 2110 standards.
